What files can I send over MMS?

MMS messages are a great way to grab a member's attention, share information, or tell a story. Use MMS messages to stand out – and get the word out!

What is MMS?

MMS, Multimedia Message Service are text messages sent with a media file, such as a picture.

MMS can include up to 5000 characters of regular/unicode text. Special characters are counted as 2 characters, such as an emojis. This will deliver as an MMS attachment and SMS message.

What types of multimedia files can I send over MMS?

Currently Strive supports sending image, video, and audio files to members via MMS.

Can I include images in my flows?

Yes you can! Just like a simple message, you can attach a media file to a flow step by clicking on the paper clip icon in the message compose window.

Sending Images

File size limit: 500KB or less

Supported image file types:

  • PNG
  • JPEG
  • GIF

Sending Videos and Audio

File size limit: 500KB or less

Supported video and audio file types:

  • MP4
  • MP3
Tip: Keep your video or audio files under :15 seconds in length. Shorter files maintain a higher resolution even when compressed to less than 500KB. Files larger than 500KB may result in broadcast errors.

  • VCF
